Dr Alegre Alejandra Berenice

Dr. Alejandra Berenice Alegre is an FMH specialist in general internal medicine and currently practices at Clinique La Prairie.
Before joining Clinique La Prairie, she gained more than 10 years of clinical experience in Switzerland within leading university and regional hospitals.
She notably worked as Chief Resident Physician at the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV), where she managed patients with complex conditions in internal medicine, geriatrics, and geriatric rehabilitation. She also participated in the “Hospital at Home” project dedicated to home-based medical follow-up.
Previously, she served as Chief Resident Physician at the Hôpitaux du Jura, developing strong expertise in the management of acute and chronic conditions in adults and elderly patients.
Holder of a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico and a Master’s degree in Clinical Medicine from the Universidad Camilo José Cela in Madrid, Dr. Alegre has a multidisciplinary background enriched by training in internal medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation, medical-surgical emergencies, surgery, and psychiatry.
She also holds training in POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound), including basic abdominal ultrasound and emergency ultrasound.
