FMH specialist in cardiology, Dr Nesrine Farah has a background combining internal medicine and cardiology across several university and regional institutions in French-speaking Switzerland. She has worked as a senior resident at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and Hôpital Riviera-Chablais, before serving as a senior physician at Hôpital de Nyon. She currently practices privately in Nyon and is an affiliated cardiologist at both Hôpital de Nyon and CHUV in Lausanne.
In addition to general cardiology, Dr Nesrine Farah is proficient in the main cardiovascular functional assessment and imaging techniques, including transthoracic, transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, the monitoring and programming of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, as well as the implantation of subcutaneous cardiac monitors. She also has specific expertise in heart failure and cardio-oncology, a field in which she holds several international certifications as well as an Inter-University Diploma (DIU) from Sorbonne University in Paris.
